Since inception in 1997, Security and Communication Warehouse (SCW) has grown into one of the leading South African importers and distributors of CCTV, Access Control and Electronic security equipment. Besides world class infrastructure and people to support our position in the market place, SCW boasts a highly specialized in-house Lab Testing facility, as well as a Training Academy.

Training SCW Training is an accredited training institute with SAQA (South African Qualification Authority) and SASSETA (Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority) The SCW Training Academy is geared to equip the candidate with the theoretical background as well as practical skills, from introductory to specialized level, to sell and maintain products and solutions across the spectrum.
Finance SCW Finance plays a strategic role by interfacing between clients and facilities. As we use several facilities, we are able to obtain finance for clients at the most competitive rates and beneficial approval criteria.
Technical Back-Up by qualified and experienced technical and IT personnel are ready to assist over the phone or, where necessary, on site. We also have a fully equipped workshop to cater for repairs on the full range of electronic equipment.
SCW Exchange Policy is a rare practice that limits disruption to service delivery - we will exchange an item, such as a camera, PCB, energizer, etc. over the counter (a nominal cost may apply).
Use of In-House Facilities where a multi-million Rand stock holding meets customer demand; an impressive demo room displays the latest in electronic security and acts as a ready venue for free demonstrations on our Bitron Digital Recording (BDR) system, extensive camera and other proven solutions; a fully fledged laboratory, where various cameras can be tested exhaustively and compared in terms of TV lines / resolution, picture quality, lux levels, absolute darkness (with IR light), direct bright light (for number plate recognition, etc.) to name a few.
